A rainbow journey through the four seasons
A Tale of Uniqueness opens a window into the world of children who are different in some way, and shows that these very differences are part of what makes them unique. Ela and Lumi travel through autumn, winter, spring and summer, and every spread is painted by hand.
How the book is made
From the first line to the rainbow
Martina Masarovičová sketches every spread in pencil first, then paints it layer by layer. She spends whole days on a single spread, so that every feeling gets its own color.

Who is behind the book
We are a family, not a studio
Our younger daughter is autistic. Our older daughter is brave and endlessly patient as she learns to understand her sister. We could not find stories that made our girls feel seen, so we started drawing them ourselves.
Ela and Lumi in the book are inspired by them. The second book is about how each of us experiences the world differently, and how that is exactly what makes us unique.

What parents often ask
When will I receive the book?
As soon as it comes back from the printer, before it reaches bookshops on 20 November. We will email you when your book is on its way.
Why only until 20 November?
We prepare signatures, dedications and launch invitations before printing. Once the book is in bookshops, these bundles end and will not return.
How do I get my TAMI points?
We will credit your points in My TAMITOS using the email address from your order. If you do not have an account yet, create one with that same email and the points will appear automatically. Every 500 points can be exchanged for a €5 shop discount.
What is a supporter collector card?
Each bundle has its own holographic card. Only pre-order supporters receive it; after 20 November it will no longer be available. After payment, it appears in My TAMITOS under Digital collectibles. Log in at tamitos.com using the same email as your order.
Where does the money go?
It goes towards finishing and printing the book and raising autism awareness. 10% of the price supports families raising autistic children through OZ TAMITOS.
Can I give the bundle as a gift?
Yes. Add the recipient’s name in the order note and we will prepare the dedication for them.
